Tyson Fury’s wife, Paris, has revealed when she believes her husband will retire from boxing.
The ‘Gypsy King’ is the current WBC heavyweight champion, a title he has held since defeating Deontay Wilder during their second bout in February 2020.
Fury is enjoying his position as the undefeated heavyweight champion, which he cemented with his recent win against Wilder in their third fight earlier this month.

He will have to continue defending his title, though a prospective unification bout against Oleksandr Usyk will have to wait until after Usyk’s rematch against Anthony Joshua which is scheduled to take place in the spring of 2022.
Fury had been heading for a unification fight with Joshua earlier this year before an arbitration hearing judged that he had to fight Wilder for a third time.
Per Sky Sports, Fury’s promoter Bob Arum has said the boxer’s next fight will be against either Dillian Whyte or Joe Joyce and take place ‘no later than April’.
Fury’s last five fights, three against Wilder and one apiece against Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin, have all been held in the USA.

Arum is adamant that Fury’s next fight will take place in front of a British crowd.
He said, ‘It is very, very important that Tyson, having done his last five fights in the US, that he goes back and does a fight in the UK.
‘He is a Brit, he has plenty of fans in the UK, and if he does a fight in the UK then comes back to the US, he will bring 10,000 Brits with him. American fans have to learn to sing like the Brits!’
If Fury wins his next fight he will be in line for a much-anticipated unification fight against the winner of Usyk and Joshua’s rematch.

However, no champion lasts forever and his wife Paris told TalkSPORT she could see her 33-year-old husband continuing to box, ‘maybe until he’s 35’ before calling it a day and hanging up the gloves for good.
She said, ‘I know Wladimir and other men have gone on to being like 40, but how do you keep going until you lose?
‘I don’t know, I wouldn’t like to see that for Tyson. I wouldn’t like him to keep going and there’s always gonna be someone come up who’s younger and fresher if you are over the hill, too far gone.’
‘I think just maybe another two or three years and then Tyson should definitely hang up his gloves.’

Staying in the ring until he’s 35 would certainly give Fury enough time to have his fight against one of Whyte or Joyce in early 2022 before going on to compete in a unification fight against the victor of the rematch between Usyk and Joshua.
Fury has been a dominant figure in heavyweight boxing since defeating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, though he didn’t fight again until 2018 due to various personal issues.
When he returned to boxing he quickly re-established himself as the best around and he looks like he still has several fights left in him before he steps out of the ring for the last time.
