It's just six weeks until Anthony Joshua reunification bout with Joseph Parker and he's on track to be lighter than his last fight. The World Heavyweight Champion was filmed by promoter Eddie Hearn doing a weight check at a gym in Sheffield, coming in at 17 stone and six pounds with all his gear on.

That's six pounds lighter than when he stepped into the ring with Wladimir Klitschko, but a whopping 10 pounds lighter than his fight with Carlos Takam - meaning he could be trying to focus on his speed rather than power.

That's a pretty ominous warning.

It's also a bit rich considering that out of 20 of Joshua's wins, 20 of them have been by knockout. So Parker could have his work cut out for him as well, but boxing is a sport where anything can happen on the night.

The New Zealand boxer has also been fighting outside the ring for a fair cut of the profits. Eddie Hearn initially offered a 80-20 split between Joshua and him, but the lowest Parker said he would go was 65-35.

"It's our final bottom line decision. We feel anything less is disrespectful or a disgrace," he told Sky Sports.

The bout will kick off on 31 March in Cardiff, Wales.
