Fans Are Very Confused By Deontay Wilder's Mask

The WBC heavyweight champion wore a Bane style mask for his weigh in ahead of the fight with Tyson Fury as both men were kept apart.

Deontay Wilder turned up at the weigh in for his fight with Tyson Fury in a weird mask. The American hid his face and reactions following previous heated exchanges between him and his opponent.

On Wednesday night Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury had their final press conference ahead of their heavyweight title fight on Saturday night. Things went pretty well until the face off where a heated debate turned into an on stage scuffle.

It wasn't the first time the two men had clashed as a couple of months ago the American had lunged for his future opponent during the press tour.

On Friday night the two men once again shared the stage, this time for the last occasion before they go face to face in the ring, for the public weigh in.

Fury turned up in typical fashion, standing inside his car and through the sunroof, gesticulating at his fans as he drove past them.

Wilder on the other hand arrived on stage in more unexpected fashion when he arrived with a Bane-esque mask which Twitter couldn't quite believe:

The mask wasn't the only unusual part of the weigh in as both men were stopped from reenacting the previous antics. The pair were separated by quite some distance on the stage with several people in their way and security guards close by.

The Gypsy King tried to get a rise out of the Bronze Bomber by shouting and pointing at the American but to his credit he didn't move.

Of course wearing the mask helped as it was difficult to see his facial expressions and whether or not Fury had got to him.

On Saturday they'll be no place for either man to hide, will Wilder let his mask slip?
