Floyd Mayweather Claims He's Offered To Fight Khabib Nurmagomedov And Conor McGregor On The Same Day

The undefeated boxer is making another comeback in 2020 and is likely to face a UFC star after teaming up with Dana White.

Floyd Mayweather is likely to face a UFC star in a boxing fight at some point this year but he actually wants to face two of them, in one day!

At the end of last year Mayweather confirmed that he'd be coming out of retirement once again and had teamed up with Dana White to make it happen.

That has led to talk of the undefeated boxer taking on someone from the UFC, as he did in his most recent fight in the win against Conor McGregor, and 'Money' wants to take on the Irishman again and McGregor's rival Khabib Nurmagomedov.

"I even talked about fighting Khabib and Conor in the same day," he told Drink Champs in a podcast.

"Khabib in the day and Conor at night. You pay one fee, probably $250, and you get both fights."

The American fought the Notorious in August 2017, with Conor losing in 10 rounds of his first and only professional boxing fight, before the Irishman finally returned to the octagon over a year later to face Khabib.

He was beaten by the Russian in similarly dominant fashion, tapping out in the fourth round, and took another year out after before returning to beat Donald Cerrone last month.

Whilst the 31-year-old has claimed he plans to fight in UFC three times in 2020 he hasn't been able to get away from rumours of a rematch with Mayweather.

Last month Khabib's father Abdulmanap claimed his son wanted to fight the 50-0 boxer in a hybrid boxing/mma fight. "We said a long time ago: let us finish with Tony, after that we will work with [the team of Ukrainian boxer Vasily] Lomachenko for six months, then there will be a boxing fight," the older Nurmagomedov told TASS.

"We offer any day anywhere, with only one condition: 11 rounds in boxing and one in mixed martial arts (MMA).

"We will stand 11 rounds against the best boxer, so why not go one round according to the rules of MMA with us? But all things will happen after Tony."

Khabib faces Tony Ferguson in April, at UFC 249, with the Russian's lightweight title on the line, and UFC president White has claimed a rematch with McGregor is on the cards should the champion win.

It could be a huge year involving Mayweather, McGregor and Khabib, it's just all highly unlikely to unfold in just one day.
