Adalaide Byrd's score card for the Canelo vs. Gennady Golovkin super-fight remains subject to intense criticism, and her initial reaction to the shitshorm she created has been revealed.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission judge controversially awarded Golovkin just the two rounds during their 12-round slug fest. TWO ROUNDS?!

Sure, Canelo started well but the Kazakh destroyer found his rhythm and began to apply heavy pressure on his opponent, while winning rounds. Well, unless you're Byrd.

She eventually scored the fight 118-110 in favour of the Mexican prompting calls of corruption.

Whether Golden Boy promoter Oscar De La Hoya payed her off is anyone's guess, but her inept judging is inexcusable.

And following the social media meltdown, Byrd burst into tears, according to the Mirror.

Fellow judge Dave Moretti scored the fight to Golovkin who had him winning the bout by 115-113. Whereas Don Trella could not separate the pair of middleweights who had it 114-114.

Did GGG deserve to get the nod? Many felt he had done enough to earn the victory.

The split draw resulted in both men holding onto their respective world titles with Golovkin retaining the WBA (super), WBC and IBF. Canelo is still in possession of the coveted Ring Magazine belt.

De La Hoya is hoping to secure a lucrative rematch. Fans and media alike are clamouring for a second fight following the questionable decision over the weekend.

If they do tangle again, who takes it?
