YouTube stars KSI and Joe Weller took their online feud to the next level last night, facing off in a boxing match at the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park that saw KSI crowned internet personality champion of the world- not a real title.

And it was apparently a pretty big deal, as the fight amassed over 20 million views last night across the two YouTube streams - with six million views on Weller's channel and a whopping 15 million on KSI's.

According to Business Insider, even the best-selling pay-per-view fight events don't even come close. The Floyd Mayweather v Conor McGregor boxing match in August last year only had 6.7 million PPV buys, while Floyd Mayweather's fight with Manny Pacquiao in 2015 had 4.6 million.

And the iconic Evander Holyfield v Mike Tyson match in 1997 - yep, the one where Tyson bit Hoyfield's ear? That had 1.99 million PPV buys.

Sure, the YouTube stream was free and easy to find online, but it's still fairly telling of the power of vlogger these days.

KSI (real name Olajide William Olatunji) has over 17 million subscribers and almost 4 million Twitter followers, and has been uploading videos to his YouTube channel since 2009.

His content is mostly focused on gaming and football, but he's also branched out into music with a series of popular football rap battles, having also worked with the likes of P Money and Big Zuu.

Weller, meanwhile, has been on the YouTube scene since 2011, and has 4.7 million subscribers and over 1 million Twitter followers.

His content is similar to KSI's, with videos about football - particularly FIFA-related videos. The video 'World Cup Song: Brazil 2014' managed to get over three million views in just a month.

KSI and Weller's beef all started back when Weller accused KSI of faking a fight with Sidemen members as a publicity stunt, before KSI released a diss track about Weller. Weller then responded by calling KSI a 'melt', and since then, they've been mouthing off to each other online with equally, er, brutal digs - calling each other 'stupid' and 'moron'.

Moments after winning the fight, in KSI's victory speech he called out disgraced YouTuber Logan Paul, and also discussed mental health.

"I talked the talk, and I walked the walk motherfucker," he said.

"Joe you were way harder and way tougher than I thought, and fair play, bro - respect for it, respect for you getting in the ring and giving me a tough battle."

He continued: "I'm gonna be honest, Joe, I don't like you, but I like what you stand for, okay?

"Mental illness is a real thing, ladies and gentlemen, and I want this event to showcase that anyone who's suffering mental illness - you are not alone, and you should never, ever, ever give up."

The 24-year-old also called out a number of fighters In his speech, including disgraced YouTuber Logan Paul and former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand.
