Deontay Wilder's representative Shelly Finkel has had his say on the public voting for Anthony Joshua's next opponent.

After besting mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin and improving his record to 22 wins from 22 fights at another sold-out Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 'AJ' revealed he will be fighting again at the national stadium in April.

He mentioned both Wilder and Dillian Whyte, the latter providing punditry for Sky Sports, as potential opponents but wanted the fans to have their say.

The WBA (super), IBF and WBO world heavyweight champion kept is word by taking to Twitter to put out the poll, where Wilder was the public's choice.

487,511 votes were cast and Wilder garnered 53 per cent of the votes, with Tyson Fury, Wilder's opponent in December, accruing 42 per cent.

But Finkel, a member of 'the Bronze Bomber's team, didn't make much of it.

"Team Joshua does not care what fight the public that supports them wants," he told Sky Sports.

"If they did, they would follow the poll they created to determine who the public wants Joshua to fight next. The public spoke and Joshua hid.

"Where is the new offer? Nowhere to be found."

Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing has stated that a showdown with Wilder is "the absolute sole focus", with Whyte the alternative if a deal cannot be thrashed out.

But Finkel says he is not willing to talk unless a better offer comes in.

"I have sent three separate emails to Barry saying that I have no desire to meet with Barry unless I have a real offer for Wilder to meet Joshua," he revealed.

"He and I have been in the business long enough to know what that offer would look like."
