Floyd Mayweather reckons Tyron Woodley BEAT Jake Paul and should have been awarded the decision following his defeat.

Woodley lost a close split-decision to Paul in the main-event of their blockbuster card in Cleveland last weekend.

The YouTuber survived a huge scare in the fourth round to record his fourth professional victory at the expense of the former UFC champion.

But Mayweather believes 'The Chosen One' did enough to get the judges' nod.

That's according to Woodley, who has revealed his conversation with the former boxing pound-for-pound king.

The 39-year-old says 'Money' liked what he saw in the ring, but wanted more output.

Woodley told Ariel Helwani: "[Floyd said] I did some things really well that I should have done more of, he did say, just a little bit more output.

"He did think that I won the fight... he said I told you that he was going to be kinda scared of you, you been in there before."

Woodley trained with Mayweather in the build up to his professional boxing debut.

Mayweather offered to coach Woodley after he had a wild brawl with 'The Problem Child' in the lead up to his exhibition bout against Logan Paul.

While Woodley failed to get the win, it's a nice vote of confidence to have one of the greatest boxers thinking that you won the fight.

Will Woodley get another crack at the 4-0 star? Watch this space.
