Ugandan Boxers Disappear From Holland Training Camp

Some worrying news is surfacing as Ugandan boxers Atanus Mugerwa and Sula Segawa have disappeared from their training base in Holland.

The pair of amateur boxers visited Holland for a training camp in preparation for qualifications for the Olympics.

Fred Kavuma, the publicist for the nations boxing federation had this to say;

"Their phones are off. The person [Andaman Daku] who had offered to host them says the boxers left his house without notice over the weekend."

While the secretary of the Ugandan boxing federation also commented;

"We are at a loss because this was a top cream of boxers. We have no words because we have lost control of the situation."

The bantam and light weight fighters where under the guidance of Holland-based former national boxer Andaman Daku. The open qualifiers in Baku, Azerbaijan, starts tomorrow where they were expected to compete with aspirations to box in the Rio Games.
