The Top 10 Boxers Of All-Time Have Been Named
Floyd Mayweather is officially the greatest boxer of all-time.
The 42-year old, with his impeccable 50-0 record, was ranked the best to every step inside the squared circle by Box Rec, the go-to site for all boxing stats and information.
Mayweather, whose last official fight was a 10th round TKO victory over UFC star Conor McGregor in August 2017, has accrued a total of 2257 points thanks to his dominance in five different weight class.
His closest rival is Manny Pacquiao, the man he beat in 'the Fight of the Century' back in May 2015 - with the Filipino in second on 1629 points after 62 wins, seven losses and two defeats.
Argentine Carlos Monzon occupies third spot, with the legendary Muhammad Ali sitting in fourth courtesy of his 56-5 record.
Just seven points separate Sugar Ray Robinson, Bernard Hopkins and Joe Louis in fifth, sixth and seventh respectively, with Archie Moore, Oscar de La Hoya and Julio Cesar Chavez closing out the list.
There's no place for the likes of Evander Holyfield, Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roy Jones Jr, Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Rocky Marciano and Joe Calzaghe.

Mayweather, meanwhile, is making his return to boxing in 2020 and is doing so in association with UFC president Dana White. It's been reported by TMZ that 'Money' is slated to have two fights in 2020 - one of which will be against an MMA fighter.
Jorge Masvidal, who has emerged as one of UFC's top stars, is desperate to mix it up with 'Money' and feels he can cause problems for the undefeated boxer.
"I can box my ass off. Not saying I'm a better boxer than Mayweather, but man, I'm gonna be in there with bad intentions trying to hurt him," Masvidal said.
"I'm a well-conditioned athlete that's not gonna fade,."I'm not gonna fade in the 8th or 9th round. I'm gonna be there for the whole night.
"If you're looking for a fight, I'm right here. If you're looking for an easy paycheck, go back to Japan and beat up those little guys."
