Imagine the scene. Joseph Parker walks out to face Anthony Joshua before the heavyweight unification fight on March 31 with Tyson Fury by his side.

That's right. Fury may be a while off a potential fight with Joshua, but the Watford-born fighter's next opponent is already trying to get in his head.

In an interview with The Daily Mail, Parker revealed that 'The Gypsy King could walk beside him as he enters Cardiff's Principality Stadium.

"I might give him a text and say: 'Bro do you want to walk in with me?'," Parker said.

"He may just walk in with me or he may just sit in the front and watch the fight. But I know I have a lot of support from Tyson which is pretty awesome."

Anthony Joshua has now responded to those claims with a brilliant answer, typical of his cool, calm and collected nature.

"I think it's good. It's attention to the sport. It'll be interesting, because, you know, [Tyson] Fury will probably try and do a little tag team and do a few rounds for him, because he's just got that in his locker!" he said via Sky Sports.

When Zlatan Ibrahimovic watched Joshua's fight against Klitschko:

"Other than that, Fury, no matter what he says outwardly, he has a lot of underlying respect for me. That's as far as I know. So what he says, I take with a pinch of salt as well.

"I don't take nothing he says to heart. And, if he wants, he's more than welcome to take a walk to the ring. But, in terms of a seat, he has to go on StubHub or go on Matchroom Fight Pass like everyone else and make sure he has a seat available for after."

Moments after Joshua made it 20 professional wins from 20 with a TKO win over Carlos Takam at the Principality Stadium in October, a number of bouts were touted for what promises to be an exciting 2018 for the WBA, IBF and IBO heavyweight champion.

Eventually the name Joseph Parker was chosen, but it turns out another touted name in Tyson Fury could make an appearance via the ring entrance.

Who'd have thought it!
