KSI Responds To Calls For A Logan Paul Rematch And Fighting Tommy Fury
YouTuber KSI has brutally shut down the idea of fighting Logan Paul in a rematch and snubbed the possibility of setting up a blockbuster showdown with Tommy Fury.
The 26-year-old British star, real name Olajide Olatunji, successfully defeated Paul in a professional boxing clash at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last month.
But a furious Paul called for a rematch after he was docked points for illegal back-of-the-head blows when KSI hit the canvas in the fourth round.
However, KSI has refused to take part in a third fight by arguing that he doesn't "think there's any benefit there."
He told Fault Magazine: "Right now I just don't think there's any benefit there.
"I've come off a win and we fought last year, this year and the hype won't be there if we fight yet again.
"He had two chances to try and beat me and failed both, so let him fight someone else because I'm ready to fight a different person now."
The British internet star, who said he would welcome a 'dream' WWE debut, has also been involved in a heated rivalry with Love Island star and boxer Tommy Fury.
And KSI fired off a swipe at him by suggesting that he "needs [me] more than I need him."
He explained: "If I'm honest, not really. He needs [me] more than I need him, like way more.
"I'm on a completely different level to him.
"If he wants a fight, he can fight one of my coaches, Viddal Riley, but he won't though because Viddal would f**k him up."
Fury has since responded to the callout from KSI by demanding that he should leave boxing and stop 'ridiculing' the sport.
The 20-year-old Manchester native told the Metro: "I saw him say he gets nothing from fighting me and I could fight his trainer?
"Don't talk about being a professional boxer and use the sport to ridicule it and get rich doing it.
"If you say you're going to be a professional boxer, then stick by it and put some real fights together."
