Eddie Hall has intensified his fierce rivalry with Hafthor Bjornsson as he called his boxing debut the "biggest load of s**t" that has happened in the sport.

Bjornsson, who is best known for playing Gregor Clegane ('The Mountain') in HBO's hit series Game of Thrones, stepped into the squared circle for the first time last month.

The 32-year-old Icelandic former pro strongman competed against Irish cruiserweight Steven Ward in a three-round exhibition fight in Dubai.

Bjornsson managed to knock Ward down early on in their fight, but the former Game of Thrones star had to settle for a draw.

'The Mountain' will return to action again in 2021 when he takes on Hall in a hotly anticipated exhibition fight.

However, Hall has claimed that Bjornsson "didn't land a single punch in three rounds" of the Ward fight.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the 33-year-old Brit said: "Do you want the God's honest truth? He didn't land a single punch in three rounds.

"Anyone with any boxing tenacity about them will know that was the biggest load of s**t that has probably ever happened in boxing.

"That Steve Ward evidently laid off."

Hall has been training ahead of his fight against Bjornsson and even been accused of 'bullying' his sparring partner in a 10-round session inside the ring.

The 'Beast' has also undergone a remarkable body transformation and shed an incredible five-and-a-half stone since he won the 2017 World's Strongest Man accolade.

Hall has continued to pull no punches towards Bjornsson as he believes that his upcoming opponent's 'poor' performance has handed him the "best advantage that I have ever had."

The former World's Strongest Man explained: "No-one can say he can [box] because he didn't land a punch.

"I want to say a big thank you to Thor for doing that match and putting it out on the internet.

"It has literally given me the best advantage that I have ever had."
