Canelo And Gennady Golovkin Battle To Epic Draw

The bout billed as the 'fight of the decade' is officially in the books.

Gennady Golovkin was defending his WBA (super), WBC and IBF world titles against Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez who brought The Ring magazine belt to the table.

Following the draw, both men hold onto their respective titles. Surely, a rematch is on the cards?!

Earlier in London. Brit Billy Joe Saunders, who is in possession of the WBO world title, retained his version against Willie Monroe Jr.

2017 has been the year of the best fighting the best following Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko, Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev, not to mention Vasyl Lomachenko taking on Guillermo Rigondeaux in December.

Here's hoping 2018 continues to deliver the match-ups fans are clamouring to see.
