Furious boxing fans demanded a refund for the Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul exhibition fight after streaming issues affected the undercard.

Mayweather clashed with Paul for eight rounds in their hotly-anticipated bout at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, on Sunday.

The pay-per-view, which was aired on Showtime in the US and Sky Sports Box Office in the UK, had an undercard that was kicked off with Chad Ochocinco vs Brian Maxwell.

However, fans were left frustrated when they were unable to watch the Ochocinco vs Maxwell fight due to issues with the Showtime app.

Showtime took to Twitter and said they were "working to resolve the issue" as they advised fans to use its website or app "again in 10 minutes."

Fans in the US dropped $49.99 to purchase the Mayweather vs Paul PPV, while those in the UK paid £16.95 to buy the event from Sky Sports Box Office.

One Twitter user posted: "We all paid and we have receipts, give us at least a partial refund."

Someone else wrote: "I'm having an issue. Show is already on, too. We deserve something for this."

A third said: "That's 10 mins of the fight we're missing. I want a refund!"

While a fourth added: "I want a refund, too."

Paul took an aggressive approach at the end of the opening round against Mayweather as he unloaded a flurry of shots on the boxing legend.

Mayweather, 44, largely dominated the exhibition fight as the stats revealed that Paul only landed 28 significant strikes from 217 punches thrown.

Boxing fans have claimed that Mayweather refused to drop his opponent to the canvas as they pointed to footage that 'proved' he held Paul up after landing a devastating right.

Paul, 26, has hinted at a rematch with the undefeated former boxer after claiming that "father time is catching up" with Mayweather.

YouTuber Jake Paul, who had a heated rivalry with Mayweather in the build-up to the fight, claimed the boxing legend's record is now '50-1' after the Logan bout.
