Jake Paul's management have sensationally claimed that Claressa Shields asked for a spot on his undercard before they began their fierce rivalry.

Paul and Shields have exchanged damning tweets and savage verbal jabs since the rise of the YouTuber's professional boxing career.

Shields has taunted Paul, claiming she would beat him in a boxing bout and slammed the idea of fighting on his card despite his star power.

The 26-year-old women's combat star goaded the 24-year-old by poking fun at reports he inserted a 'no knockout clause' in his fight against Tyron Woodley.

She tweeted: "It's hilarious to see Jake get asked about the no Knockout clause.

"Say my name b*tch! You come for me, I come for you. Google "NDA" It's only a question though."

Paul's management company, headed by Nakisa Bidarian, swiftly replied, stating that they have 'receipts' that prove she wanted to be on his event.

BAVAFA Sports tweeted: "What's hilarious is the multiple times you and your team tried to be a part of a Jake Paul event. Time reveals all. #Receipts."

In September, when asked if she would fight on a Paul undercard, Shields replied: "I would never fight on the undercard of Jake Paul. I'm a three-division world champion and a two-time Olympic gold medalist in boxing.

"I would never fight on Jake Paul's undercard. I don't know what Amanda Serrano's purse was -- I think it was $75,000-$100,000.

"I would never fight another boxing match for that money because I'm worth so much more. I'm a $1million fighter.

"[Jake Paul] was having a circus show. No disrespect to Tyron Woodley or Jake Paul, but I'm a real boxer. I could beat up Jake Paul at the weight class I'm at right now.

"I would never fight on the undercard of someone who does not possess the skills or accomplishments that I have."
