Boxing legend Mike Tyson has hilariously suggested that 'police and lawyers might be involved' if Conor McGregor stepped on his feet outside of the octagon.

'Iron' Mike, 54, recently claimed that he would have 'kicked McGregor's a**e' inside the squared circle.

Tyson, who will make a sensational return to boxing in September, was asked if he fancied his chances against the 'Notorious' inside the octagon.

The 'Baddest Man on the Planet' admitted he wasn't afraid of potentially 'getting his a**e handed to him' in a fight with McGregor.

But Tyson revealed that he would draw the line at the Irish superstar having the ability to step on his feet inside (and outside) the octagon.

The boxing Hall of Famer told the Dan Patrick Show: "I don't think I wanna do that [fight].

"Not because Conor might kick my a**e, it's just because Conor has the right to step on my feet.

"If he steps on my feet when we get out the ring, it's gonna be a problem.

"Then we'll have some police involved. We'll have the lawyer involved. It's gonna be ugly."

Tyson has previously opened up about his feet and claimed it was one of the main reasons for why he would never have become a UFC superstar.

"I don't know what I would do in the UFC, because I watched the UFC a couple of times, and I watched these guys step on people's feet," the former undisputed world champ said.

"And I have the worst feet in the world, and if somebody stepped on my feet, I would totally tap out and just give up.

"It would be a no-brainer."

McGregor, who announced his sudden MMA retirement in June, has since reacted to Tyson's initial claim that he could have kicked his a**e.

Tyson has showered the former UFC double champ with praise over his performance against boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in their 2017 crossover fight.

The 'Notorious' responded to 'Iron' Mike's praise by claiming that he would "crack the puzzle" and "beat" Mayweather in a potential rematch.
