Jake Paul has revealed that three MMA fighters are on his 'hit list' for potential opponents as he eyes up his return to the squared circle.

The 24-year-old YouTuber stopped former UFC fighter Ben Askren in the first round at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, earlier this month.

Paul's TKO win has moved his professional boxing record to 3-0, having previously beaten former NBA star Nate Robinson and YouTuber AnEsonGib.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer's crusade in the fight world has also led to him entering into a war of words with former Love Island star Tommy Fury.

And Paul has also traded verbal blows with UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman and engaged in a heated standoff with MMA legend Daniel Cormier.

The American star has dismissed the idea of fighting Fury in his next fight, saying that his focus is currently on Tyron Woodley, Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.

"This all started with me having a list of people I wanted to fight," Paul told ESPN.

"It started with a YouTuber and then it was a real athlete and then all of a sudden it was to fight an MMA athlete.

"Nate Diaz and I got into beef on Twitter and so the people on that list are mainly MMA fighters.

"It's whatever gets people interested and combining the two worlds [...] the biggest pay-per-view of all time was Floyd vs Conor, boxing vs MMA, so why not keep with that model?

"I believe I'm a better striker than 99.9 per cent of these MMA guys, so when we're matching up from a skill and experience level, it's even and it's who wants it more in the fight.

"If I'm going against these world champion boxers who have been doing it since they were six years old, it's an unfair advantage.

"[Tyron Woodley] would be a good opponent, Nate Diaz would be a good opponent, Conor McGregor would be a good opponent."

Paul has also suggested that he would "obliterate" Diaz in a fight, which would make it "undeniable" for him to clash with UFC superstar McGregor.
