Anthony Joshua tonight faced the toughest challenge of his career in Wladimir Klitschko and he overcame it in spectacular style.
The fight was arguably the biggest in british boxing history, with fans eagerly anticipating the mega-bout from the moment Eddie Hearn invited Klitschko into the ring at the Manchester Arena after AJ had soundly beaten Eric Molina in a defence of his IBF world title on December 10, and announced the mammoth bout.
Joshua has taken his career to the next level with a victory at the expense of his fellow Olympic gold medalist Klitschko, who was out to prove that he's still very much got what it takes to be at the top in his first fight since the shock defeat inflicted by Tyson Fury in November 2015.
