They both can't resist...

Floyd Mayweather quite likes money, doesn't he? He should probably make people more aware of it.

Aptly nicknamed, 'Money', Mayweather has a habit of flaunting his wealth by sharing snaps of dollar bills on his social media pages.

Yesterday, the undefeated fighter decided to take to Instagram to post an image of the $100 million dollar he received from his mega-fight with Conor McGregor back in August.

McGregor speaks to SPORTbible in 2016:

The two combat sports titans clashed in Las Vegas and with it being the second biggest pay-per-view in history, in terms of buyrates, both raked it an absolute fortune.

Mayweather got his biggest ever pay-day for his 50th professional victory and felt the need to show off the cheque he was given, with a message attached.

Of course, McGregor was never going to sit quiet and it didn't take long for him to respond. He simply wrote "Yum Yum" on Twitter.

The Irishman was made even richer following his venture into professional boxing and was guaranteed to earn at least $30 million going into the fight, which he lost via TKO in the tenth round.

After all the build-up and trash-talking, Mayweather and McGregor appeared to bury the hatchet post-fight.

But then earlier this month, the war of words was re-opened.

Floyd posted a screenshot of a headline from an article reporting that McGregor was in deep shit after punching an Irish gangster and wrote the following message alongside a slew of emojis:

"I already fucked you up in 2017 now they about to fuck you up in 2018. You're about to start your new year off with a bang."

McGregor obviously responded in typical fashion...
