A blockbuster welterweight clash between Manny Pacquiao and Errol Spence will go down on August 21 in Las Vegas.

'Pac-Man' announced the huge world title bout on Twitter, confirming his fight against the unbeaten American star.

Pacquiao vs. Spence will be for the latter's WBC and IBF world welterweight titles.

The legendary Filipino, meanwhile, hasn't fought since beating the previously-undefeated Keith Thurman to win the WBA (super) world welterweight title in July 2019.

As for Spence, 'The Truth' last fought when he outpointed dangerous veteran Danny Garcia last year.

He's the current unified world champion, owning the IBF strap - which he won against Kell Brook - and the WBC belt, beating Shawn Porter to claim the famous green and gold title.

Pacquiao, 42, will continue his epic career, facing one of the most feared fighters in the sport.

Spence, 31, is unbeaten in 27 fights and boasts impressive victories over the likes of Lamont Peterson and Mikey Garcia, among others.

Boxing fans reacted to the super-fight by mocking Pacquiao's former foe Floyd Mayweather, who, of course, is fighting Logan Paul.

Some also said he could be considered as the GOAT if he does the unthinkable and beats Spence.

One joked: "And Floyd is somewhere fighting a titkokker."

A second tweeted: "If Pac-Man wins this fight he might well be the GOAT."

A third added: "Wow!! If Pacquiao at 42 years of age beats a prime Spence he is hands down the greatest of all time. Without question."
