Former heavyweight champ Shannon Briggs has said that it is 'fact' that Logan Paul could capture boxing's biggest prize in the years to come.

Paul, 24, is scheduled to have a rematch with fellow YouTuber KSI on 9th November at the Staples Center in LA.

And Briggs, who is Paul's trainer, has no question in his mind that the YouTuber has everything that it takes to become a fully-fledged heavyweight boxer.

The 47-year-old American told Sky Sports: "Training is going phenomenal. He's in terrific shape.

"We already ahead of schedule, he's punching hard.

"The only problem is the fight ain't tonight.

"This kid could be heavyweight champion of the world in four or five years. Facts."

Paul and KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji, first fought in a blockbuster white-collar amateur boxing match in 2018 at the Manchester Arena.

And the bout ended in a draw, with the rematch scheduled to be a professional boxing fight without any protective headwear.

Paul has insisted that he "relied on my athleticism to carry me through the first fight and it almost worked."

He continued: "But now I am a boxer, I am literally a professional fighter and I feel like it.

"I would honestly love to fight in the UFC; I want Dana White to put me in the octagon."

The YouTuber has already called for a clash with UFC superstar Conor McGregor and a bout with former unified heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua.

Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn is promoting KSI and Paul's rematch, which will feature Devin Haney and Billy Joe Saunders on the undercard.

Meanwhile, KSI has revealed that he is eyeing up a bout with Paul's younger brother, Jake, after the upcoming rematch.

He told JD Sports: "Who's next? I'd love to have Jake.

"I'd love to break his s****y little skull.

"I despise him, I hate him. I actually hate him more than Logan.

"He is actual s**t. Yeah, so Jake would make sense."
