Mike Tyson And Floyd Mayweather Give Predictions For Tyson Fury Vs Anthony Joshua

Mike Tyson had a clear winner in mind out of Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, but the same can't be said for fellow legend Floyd Mayweather.

Boxing legends Floyd Mayweather and Mike Tyson have both put forward their predictions for a potential all-British showdown between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.

WBC champ Fury, 32, is set to complete his trilogy of fights with Deontay Wilder in December or early 2021.

And the 'Gypsy King,' who has agreed a two-fight deal with Joshua, has a clear path to unification after Dillian Whyte's shock KO defeat to Alexander Povetkin.

Joshua, meanwhile, is set to defend his championship crown against IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev around December time.

However, the 30-year-old Brit's path to a mega-unification bout with Fury could be derailed if the WBO calls for 'AJ' to take on Oleksandr Usyk.

'Iron' Mike, 54, believes that Fury would beat 'AJ' in a unification fight after branding him the "best heavyweight champion of the world since myself."

"He is the best heavyweight champion of the world since myself," the 'Baddest Man on the Planet' said.

"He is the man, I don't care what anybody says. I know this is going to sound ignorant, he can say what he wants to say.

"You know who are going to look up to him? The people who never thought they had a chance in their life."

Boxing legend Mayweather, on the other hand, took a completely different route to Tyson when he talked about the two Brit superstars.

The 43-year-old, who retired from boxing in 2017 with a 50-0 record, praised both Tyson and Joshua for their fighting abilities.

However, Mayweather insisted that it's "none of my business" over who wins in their fight if he is "not getting paid."

The former five-division champ told fans during a Q&A in March: "We talking about Anthony Joshua, hell of a fighter. Tyson Fury, hell of a fighter. It doesn't matter who wins, if I'm not getting paid, that's none of my business.

"Everybody keep worry about two heavyweights. Boxing is worldwide. And it's going to be a heavyweight who's not from the US or not from the UK who's going to make a lot of noise. Everybody mark that down right now, I told you that.

"There are other heavyweights from other countries who are very exciting, very explosive. In the sport of boxing, anything can happen on any given night.

"You see Deontay Wilder was at the top one day, and the next day hating him. You can't do it like this. You can't talk bad about him because at the end of the day anything can happen."
