Boxing legend Mike Tyson was bizarrely asked by YouTuber Logan Paul if he would fight a gorilla or a kangaroo if he had the chance.

The 54-year-old former undisputed world champ once tried to fight a silverback gorilla for $10,000 when he visited the zoo in the 1980s with his then-partner Robin Givens.

Tyson made a recent appearance on Paul's Impaulsive podcast and was asked about his position on fighting a gorilla or a kangaroo.

When asked what he would do if he was in the jungle and had to fight a gorilla "to the death," 'Iron' Mike responded: "Oh, I'd bow my head down. I'm not fighting you.

"I wouldn't try to fight him. Just put my head down and he would know he's the boss [...]."

Tyson and Paul would move on from the gorilla and start talking about kangaroos, with another fight question once again directed towards the boxing Hall of Famer.

When asked about fighting a kangaroo, the 'Baddest Man on the Planet' responded: "I don't think it would be necessarily try... what's the purpose of it?

"I'm not interested in that unless there's a lot of money involved."

Tyson's appearance on Impaulsive also grabbed the headlines for how he casually consumed a handful of mushrooms at the start of the episode.

And 'Iron' Mike pulled no punches when he was asked for his prediction for Paul's upcoming exhibition fight against boxing legend Floyd Mayweather.

"Floyd is going to beat his f*****g a**e," Tyson said.

"It's going to be good. He's going to fight back, though."

The 'Baddest Man on the Planet' later added: "Let me tell you something about Floyd.

"This is what I don't like about him, either. No matter whatever we say about him, he's in that gym.

"He's retired, but he stays in that gym. He can't help it. He don't do drugs. That's his heroin."
