Floyd Mayweather launched a full-blown rant against legends like Rocky Marciano and Muhammad Ali as he made a compelling case for his status as boxing's GOAT.

The 43-year-old boxing legend retired in 2017 after his blockbuster crossover fight with UFC superstar Conor McGregor.

And Mayweather, who holds an unblemished record of 50-0, has persistently argued that he is the best fighter of all time.

During a UK tour, 'Money' told boxing fans that the history books point out that he "beat more world champions than any fighter in history."

Mayweather explained: "When we talk about these champions, legendary fighters, we talk about how they have 100 and something fights, 100 and something victories.

"But when you look at the history books, I still beat more world champions than any fighter in history.

"I respect these fighters because these fighters are the fighters that paved the way for me to be where I'm at, but there's no fighter in boxing that accomplished what I accomplished at all. You can go back as far as you want to go back."

The undefeated retired boxer continued by ripping into Marciano's record, saying that he "fought a bunch of ducks."

And Mayweather also called out Ali's track record by suggesting he "never beat Ken Norton" and criticising his rope-a-dope technique.

"If we go back and look at Marciano's record, he fought a bunch of ducks. Ali, he never beat Ken Norton, this is the truth," he said.

"There's nothing cool about laying on the ropes, taking punishment and being glorified for that.

"If another fighter is known as the greatest fighter, they say, 'Oh, he's the greatest.' Well, then I'm greater in other places. I'm the greatest businessman.

"I'm going to always love Muhammad Ali, always love Sugar Ray Robinson, always love Sugar Ray Leonard, always love every legendary champion... Joe Louis and the list goes on and on -- but one thing I'm not going to say is that they are better than me, that's not true."

Mayweather previously sparked controversy with his ranking of Ali in his top five boxers of all time.

And the boxing legend also launched an extraordinary rant against Ali after the 'Greatest' was named the best boxer of all time on ESPN's SportsCenter.
