KSI has savagely responded to Logan Paul's claims that he could beat Anthony Joshua and become the future heavyweight boxing champ.

The YouTuber, real name Olajide Olatunji, will clash with fellow internet personality Paul in a rematch on 9th November at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

But the 24-year-old Paul, who has called out Conor McGregor for a UFC fight, has previously said that he wants to fight Brit superstar 'AJ' after his second bout with KSI.

Now, KSI has rubbished the idea that Paul would stand a chance of beating 'AJ' or becoming world heavyweight champ by saying he is "retarded."

"I saw the comments about Logan being able to beat AJ and become the heavyweight champion of the world and he is retarded," he told talkSPORT.

"I am just going to leave it at that."

Paul, much like KSI, has kept up his trash-talking antics by saying that his opponent will last 'only two rounds with him.'

The YouTuber said he wants to "carry on boxing" after the KSI clash and doesn't see why he can't become a champion.

He explained: "People will just have to watch the fight on Saturday to realise I am actually a pretty good f*****g boxer and I think a lot of my fans want to see me take that route.

"Fighting is fun but it is also dangerous, so I just have to weigh-up the risk and reward."

Former heavyweight champ Shannon Briggs, who is training Paul, has no doubts that the 24-year-old could climb to the top of the boxing world in the next four or five years.

"Training is going phenomenal. [Paul's] in terrific shape," he said.

"We already ahead of schedule, he's punching hard.

"The only problem is the fight ain't tonight.

"This kid could be heavyweight champion of the world in four or five years. Facts."

Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn, who is promoting the fight, sent social media into overdrive on Monday after showing off Paul's chiseled physique.
