Despite the American triggering the contracted rematch clause, an undisputed clash between Fury and Joshua has been mooted with promoters Eddie Hearn and Bob Arum reportedly holding talks for a mega-fight.

And ahead of a potential showdown, the WBA (super), IBF and WBO belt holder has aimed a dig at the WBC champion.

"He's had two good fights in his career in my opinion, Klitschko and Wilder, and he's managed to win them both so he's on a high right now," he said.

"But he has to be careful what he wishes for because the young gunners are coming up."
