"At Least She's Safe Now" - Jake Paul Sends Video Response To Tyson Fury's Comments About His Girlfriend

"At Least She's Safe Now" - Jake Paul Sends Video Response To Tyson Fury's Comments About His Girlfriend

The war of words between the two camps has been ratcheting up with just a month to go until Tommy Fury takes on the YouTube star.

Jake Paul has responded to Tyson Fury's comment that he should "keep his girlfriend on a leash" ahead of next month's clash with the British heavyweights' younger brother, Tommy.

The American has been riling up just about every member of the Fury family in recent weeks, including 'Big' John Fury, who labelled him a "W****r during Wednesday's press conference.

However, WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson is the latest member of the clan to join the war of words, as the 33-year-old recent said that Paul had better "keep his girlfriend on a leash" ahead of his and his brother's arrival in Florida.

"You know when Big T [Fury] is in town, they're not safe. Lock up your women and hide your men when we're in Florida," the boxer joked.

This elicited a funny response from Paul, which was uploaded to the 24-year-old's TikTok page.

You can watch the video for yourself below.

The fight itself, due to take place on the 18th December in Tampa Bay, is between Paul and Tommy Fury, Tyson's younger sibling who has just seven professional bouts to his name.

The 22-year-old is unbeaten thus far, although the quality of his opponents has been called into question by some critics.

Fury's last dance partner, for instance, was Anthony Taylor, a three-fight novice with just one prior win to his name. The fight, which took place on the undercard of Jake Paul v Tyron Woodley, saw Fury win fairly unconvincingly on points.

This will surely give encouragement to Paul, who has knocked out all of his prior boxing opponents bar former UFC champion Woodley.

One of the unknown elements in the upcoming clash is the influence of mind games.

Paul is essentially a professional wind-up merchant, having publically gone after the likes of Dana White, Conor McGregor, and now, the fearsome Furys.

Tommy, by contrast, is still fairly new to the big occasions, something that may have a big impact on the British fighter's performance on the night.

Promotor Eddie Hearn thinks that Paul's bravado has already been effective in disarming Team Fury.

"I actually like Jake Paul, I think he's very intelligent. But for the first time ever, Jake Paul has completely ruined all three Furys," Hearn recently told Mirror Fighting.

"I've never seen Tyson lost for words, and he was lost for words - everything Jake was saying was making them think.

"Jake's witty, he's smart and he's putting the work in."
