Jake Paul Fights Back Against PPV Number Rumours, Takes Another Pop At Fury

Jake Paul has hit back against the poor reported pay-per-view numbers for his recent fight against Tyron Woodley, and taken another pop at Tommy Fury in the process.

Paul was mocked by the likes of UFC star Jorge Masvidal for supposedly drawing in only 65,000 PPV buys.

Masvidal said on Twitter: "B**** boy can't afford the big boys. "Never again do I want to hear my name associated with the fake.

"3 0 5 [Masvidal's Miami area code] day is coming."

But the YouTube star did not take the criticism lightly and took to social media to counter those claims, while using it as an opportunity to level a dig at Tommy Fury in the process.

"The PPV number rumors are b*******", he said on Twitter.

"1st fight w Woodley we sold 500k+

"Numbers for this one are still rolling in but still looking positive.

"Not my best business night

"But remember.. Everyone wanted to see me Vs. Fury and that's what we sold."

The 24-year-old knocked out Woodley in the sixth round, with the former UFC champion stepping in at the last moment to replace Fury.

Fury was forced to pull out of his showdown with Paul due to a broken rib and a bacterial chest infection.

So, whether you love him or hate him, Paul is making big waves in the boxing world, and has now won all five of his professional fights to date.

It will be fascinating to see who he fights next, and if Paul and Fury will get another chance to do battle in the ring.
