The contract for a two-fight deal between Fury and Joshua to unify the world heavyweight titles has FINALLY been signed.

Both fighters will pocket a career high purse after agreeing to a 50-50 split for the first meeting.

Speaking to ESPN, Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn said: "I actually feel we've done the hard part.

"Speaking for myself, Anthony and his team at 258 management [258 MGT], I know how hard we've worked these last couple of months and I just feel that this fight is so big it's not a difficult sell.

"We've already had approaches from eight or nine sites. The offers have come from multiple countries in the Middle East, from Asia, Eastern Europe and America.

"This is the biggest fight in boxing and one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

"It will be a major, major win for a country that wants to showcase itself."

Fury, 32, hasn't fought since destroying Deontay Wilder back in February 2020.

He was supposed to face 'The Bronze Bomber' for a third time until the coronavirus scrapped the bout.

As for Joshua, the 31-year-old last fought in December 2020 when he thrashed his IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev.

The winner of Fury vs. Joshua will crown the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.
