What Kell Brook Said About Amir Khan Going In The Jungle Is Priceless

What Kell Brook Said About Amir Khan Going In The Jungle Is Priceless

"He's always finding some kind of excuse and now he's travelled to the other side of the world to get away from me..."

It has been a long-running gag that Amir Khan has ran away from a potential bout with Kell 'The Special One' Brook in recent years.

Olympic silver medalist Khan hasn't fought since he was knocked out by Canelo in their middleweight fight last year, but the Bolton born fighter has flirted with a possible return to the ring, but again chose to avoid his fellow welterweight Brook.

Khan wanted Floyd Mayweather to come out of retirement for a second time to fight him. "Floyd is a great fighter. I just have something he's not faced, speed. Floyd knows I'm not the one to back down," Khan said via The Manchester Evening News.

It seems that proposal fell on deaf ears, as Brook called the 30-year-old out on Twitter again for avoiding him.

Weeks after the above tweets emerged, Khan has decided to participate in the reality TV show 'I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here' and again, Brook called the Bolton born fighter out for finding another excuse to avoid him.

"I think he's travelled over to the other end of the world to get away from me. The next thing he'll be saying is, if Kell comes to the jungle and lasts longer than he does, he'll fight me then!" Brook told Sky Sports.

"He's always finding some kind of excuse and now he's travelled to the other side of the world to get away from me.

"It is a programme that I do enjoy watching. I'm looking forward to seeing him on the show. I'll be voting for him to eat some kangaroo testicles, or something like that. I'll make sure that he has to do something for avoiding the fight with me."

Khan went against his word and decided to participate in the reality TV show 'I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here', even though he clearly didn't think too highly of the show a few years ago, as a tweet he made in 2012 has resurfaced of the Olympian dissing the reality TV programme.

He was replying to someone who asked if he would ever slip on the red socks and head into the jungle, and he said: "No it's for has beens."

Should Khan fight Kell Brook in the future? Surely Floyd Mayweather won't come out of retirement again?
