Floyd Mayweather Responds To Viral Video Teasing A Manny Pacquiao Rematch In Saudi Arabia
Floyd Mayweather has squashed rumours of a dream rematch with Manny Pacquiao ever taking place in Saudi Arabia.
Footage of Mayweather, 42, went viral on Sunday in which he claimed that he was travelling to the country to hold 'talks' over the match.
But the retired boxer has come out to dismiss talks of a Pacquiao rematch and admitted that the clip was "old."
He told FightHype: "The video that y'all been seeing is false because I've [already been] to Saudi Arabia. I went there a long time ago.
"I talked to them about me fighting there, just different fights, but they wanted me to specifically say Manny Pacquiao.
"And actually, we didn't just talk about boxing; we talked about different events; us bringing different events out there.
"Basically, that's an old video. At the end of the day, there's no talks about me and Manny Pacquiao fighting a rematch.

"Even if we did fight, all they're going to do is have an excuse, just like the first time.
"But as far as me and Manny Pacquiao, as of right now, it will never be a rematch."
Mayweather, who retired with an unblemished record of 50 wins and no losses, said in the video that it would be an "honour to come to Saudi Arabia to sit down with you guys to talk about the Mayweather vs Pacquiao rematch."
He continued: "Saudi Arabia. Floyd 'Money' Mayweather. I'm on my way."

Mayweather's last professional bout came against Conor McGregor in 2017 and he chalked up his 50th victory with a TKO win over the MMA superstar.
The 42-year-old American did take part in an exhibition match against Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa last year, but Mayweather made quick work of him and recorded a TKO victory in the first round.
Mayweather also beat fierce rival Pacquiao to be crowned the best boxer of all time in BoxRec's ratings.
