Floyd Mayweather Re-Opens War Of Words With Conor McGregor

After all the trash-talking and shade-throwing in the build-up to their mega fight in Las Vegas in August, there was mutual respect shown from Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor after the bout.

Together, they'd made an absolute fortune and seemed to become civil, with both fighters praising one another.

McGregor was in fine form when we spoke to him in 2016:

But if you thought the beef was squashed, you were wrong. Because today, out of nowhere, Mayweather has took to Instagram to rip into McGregor, his 50th and final opponent in between the ropes.

'Money' posted a screenshot of a headline from an article reporting that McGregor was in deep shit after punching an Irish gangster and wrote the following message alongside a slew of emojis:

"I already fucked you up in 2017 now they about to fuck you up in 2018. You're about to start your new year off with a bang."

Jeez, just when you thought they were done and dusted and would move on with their massive paychecks, Mayweather re-opens the war of words!

Could it be that we are building towards Mayweather-McGregor II in the latter's world of MMA?!

We eagerly await McGregor's response because the Irishman is certainly not one to let it slide...
