Once they weighed in, Eubank Jr and Groves squared off, and the IBO world champion had a few words during the head-to-head.
Here's what he said: "I told him he's not ready. George ain't ready, I can see it in his eyes.
"He walked in here with his shades on. He doesn't want to be here. He wants to get put into retirement, so that's what we're going to do on Saturday night. I'm taking that belt home.

"Do I look nervous? Do I look nervous to you guys? That belt is coming home with me, trust me on that. This is the biggest fight of my career. I want this more than anything I've ever wanted in my life.
Eubank Jr added: "George, we're just on different levels, we're on different plains, he's in a different stage of his life.
"I don't think of retirement. Retirement is not a word that even comes into my mind. I have got so much more to achieve in my career.

"I think this is George's last little hurrah before he settles down and has his family, and relaxes for the rest of his life. I'm going to help him on that path. George Groves is getting knocked out cold.
As for Groves, the WBA-super champion, he's excited for Saturday night and raring to go.
"I'm excited, I made weight, I'm ready to go! I'm in the prime of my career, fighting better than ever.
