Former WBC champ Deontay Wilder plans to meet with George Foreman over the boxing legend's proposed training offer ahead of the Tyson Fury rematch, according to reports.

The 34-year-old KO artist was dominated and outclassed by Tyson Fury in their blockbuster rematch last month in Las Vegas.

And Foreman, 71, came out after the fight with an offer to help the 'Bronze Bomber' improve in preparation for the third fight.

"I can take [Wilder] back with me to where I was, take him back to the boxer he ought to be. I know I can take him there," 'Big George' told The Athletic.

"In those weeks, I can show him how to do it, and then it belongs to him.

"He will be able to keep himself up from that point and no-one will ever again be able to take his legs."

Now ThaBoxingVoice host Nestor Gibbs claims to have messaged Wilder about the boxing legend's proposal to help train him.

And the former WBC champ, who suffered his first professional loss to Fury, confirmed that he would meet with Foreman.

Ex-boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather has also come forward with a proposal to train Wilder for the rematch.

Wilder, who has astonishingly blamed his 40-pound costume for his loss, broke his silence last month and insisted that the "war has just begun."

The 'Bronze Bomber' told fans in an Instagram video: "Hello, my people, my Bomb Squad army, my Bomb Squad nation, to all my loved ones around the world, I just want to let you know I am here.

"Your king is here. And we ain't going nowhere, for the war has just begun. I will rise again. I am strong. I am a king, you can't take my pride.

"I am a warrior. I am a king that will never give up. I'm a king that will fight to the death.

"And if anyone don't understand that, don't understand what it is to go to war, don't understand what it is to fight, we will rise again. We will regain the title.

"I will be back. We will hold our heads up high. Your king is in great spirit. We will rise like a phoenix from the ashes and regain the title.

"I'll see you in a few months, for the war has just begun. All my love to all my people."
