The 35-year-old American star hasn't fought since his devastating defeat to Brit rival Fury last February in their blockbuster rematch.
The Bronze Bomber initially wasted no time in activating his rematch clause, but the trilogy fight was postponed last year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Fury then turned his attention to an all-British mega-unification showdown with Anthony Joshua as both camps edged close to agreeing a lucrative deal.
However, the unification bout has been thrown into jeopardy as Wilder's new co-trainer, Malik Scott, said the Bronze Bomber had "no interest in step-aside money."
Wilder took to Instagram to post a new training video ahead of his sensational return to the squared circle.
The KO artist accompanied his training clip with lyrics from rap icon 2Pac, specifically his hit single 'Hail Mary.'
Wilder wrote: "Revenge is the sweetest JOY next to getting Pu$$y. -[2Pac]."
Top Rank founder and CEO Bob Arum has insisted there are no plans to pay Wilder a 'step-aside fee' -- which could be upwards of $20m -- to allow the unification clash to happen.
Fury's co-promoter has revealed that the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas has been reserved for the third fight between the WBC champ and Wilder on 24th July.
Speaking to ESPN, Arum said: "It's better to get rid of him and go about our business.
"We can make the Fury-Joshua fight for November or December."
Fury has since launched an astonishing attack on Wilder and mocked him on social media over his excuses following his 2020 stoppage defeat.
