Canelo and Plant Face Off Before Super Middleweight Unification Fight

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Caleb Plant have just weighed in before the super middleweight unification fight between the pair at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this weekend.

The bad blood between the pair will be settled in the ring at approximately 5am UK time this coming Sunday morning, and we're in for a treat if the weigh-in is anything to go by.

Canelo left Plant with a cut on his face at the press conference, but another scuffle was avoided this time with Mike Tyson's presence enough to keep things a bit more subdued.

The pair still shared a few heated words with each other though, and the animosity between them was clear to see.

The Mexican weighed in at 168 pounds, one more than Plant at 167, with both fighters looking in superb shape ahead of their Vegas showdown.

Canelo currently holds WBA (Super), WBC, WBO, and The Ring titles, while Plant holds the IBF super middleweight title.

Canelo v Plant will conclude a thrilling night of boxing action after an undercard that features seven fights. Among these sees ex-WBC super-middleweight champion Anthony Dirrell face Marcos Hernandez, while former WBC super-bantamweight champion Rey Vargas takes on Leonardo Baez.

The full undercard event is listed below
