Deontay Wilder lost all respect for Anthony Joshua after the Brit leaked private messages to Eddie Hearn.

Wilder and Joshua exchanged messages in 2017 and 2018 amid informal negotiations about a potential super-fight. But they failed to agree terms, and their relationship broke down.

Joshua revealed the messages he had with Wilder to his promoter Eddie Hearn, and that didn't sit well with the American champion who says he lost all respect for his rival.

"I'll never freeze nobody out," said Wilder when asked about Joshua's accusations of freezing him out of the heavyweight division.

"I'm in the business of blessing people. Just like I tried to before, in the beginning.

"Just like we had private conversations, but you went and ran and showed your masters," he added.

"I don't respect you no more, bro. I don't have no respect.

"When we had those private conversations and you went back and showed Eddie what we was talking about, then you lost my respect wholeheartedly.

"People don't even f**k with you like that. Even in your own country bro. I've been there almost three weeks now. People talk, I spoke to all of them. It's crazy, but you know I keep that to myself."

Wilder and Joshua are a long way away from fighting each other.

Joshua needs to regain the heavyweight world titles when he faces Andy Ruiz Jr in December to make an undisputed fight possible again.

As for Wilder, he's set to defend his title against Luis Ortiz in November before rematching Tyson Fury in early 2020.
