Tyson Fury Invited To Speak To Manchester United Team By Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Tyson Fury has been invited by Manchester United to deliver a motivational speech to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.

The Manchester-born fighter stopped Deontay Wilder last weekend to claim the WBC heavyweight world title.

The stunning victory in Las Vegas completes a remarkable career turnaround for Fury, who battled depression and a drug addiction during his dark days away from the sport.

And United boss Solskjaer is hoping to get the 'Gypsy King' to visit the club's Carrington training ground and give a speech about his journey.

The United boss is banking on Fury to provide inspiration to his team ahead of the business end of the 2019/20 season.

The Reds are fighting on three fronts as the club continue to fight for qualification to the Champions League and remain in the FA Cup and UEFA Cup.

They currently occupy fifth place with 11 league games left of the campaign.

Roy Keane and Sir Alex Ferguson have already been invited to speak to the team since the Norwegian took charge of the club.

Solskjaer's move comes after the Premier League launched their 'Heads Up' campaign which encourages players to open up about their mental health.

Fury's incredible story has been praised and well documented as the 31-year-old prepares to meet Wilder for a third time after the American exercised the contracted rematch clause.
