Andy Ruiz Jr has revealed he told Anthony Joshua that he did indeed hit him with a punch from god.
Ruiz Jr, 30, shocked the heavyweight division in New York when he stopped Joshua to win the WBA (super), IBF and WBO world titles.
But the British star dismissed Ruiz Jr's heroic performance and claimed the Mexican-American caught him with a "lucky punch sent by the gods."
The unified heavyweight king has hit back at Joshua's claim and he has detailed his conversation with him when they came head-to-head during their world media tour.

"No, I don't plan on killing nobody," he said in response to a fan asking him if he's going to kill 'AJ'. "God wouldn't want that, but I'm sure he wants me to win and prove everyone wrong.
"Everybody still doubts me, saying it was God's lucky punch but I told Joshua in his face that it was a punch from God because I've been praying and wishing for this opportunity my whole life and I took advantage of it."
Joshua has the chance to reclaim the heavyweight belts when he rematches Ruiz Jr on December 7 in Saudi Arabia.
