Tyson Fury has accepted the offer of a boxing match with UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.

Miocic called for a sensational cross-code showdown with Fury after footage emerged of the lineal heavyweight champion training MMA with Darren Till.

Fury has now responded to Miocic's call out and he has claimed that once he beats Deontay Wilder, he'll take the American fighter up on his offer of a boxing bout.

Speaking to MTK Global, he said: "Stipe says he wants to box me, that would be a good fight for sure. After I get Wilder out of the way I'll fight Stipe in a boxing match if he wants it.

"It would be a big crossover fight like Mayweather and McGregor.

"I'm open to that fight so he should come and see me. It would be the same outcome for any of them, they'll all get smashed.

"It was exciting training with Darren Till and we get on like a house on fire, he put me through a hard training session and it was really good."

On Monday, Miocic expressed his desire to box Fury.

"I'll step into the ring. I'd love to box him. I would love to box him," he told Ariel Helwani. "He's a great fighter, he's a good dude, I think we'd put on a good show.

"Go toe-to-toe, slug it out I would love to fight Tyson Fury," he added. "I'd love to box him."

Fury's expected to face Wilder for the WBC heavyweight title in early 2020.

Miocic, meanwhile, will run it back for a third time with Daniel Cormier once he's healthy.
