Anthony Joshua Says He Won't Give Andy Ruiz Jr Another Rematch If He Wins And Aims Fresh Dig At Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua will refuse to fight Andy Ruiz Jr for a third time if he beats the unified heavyweight king in the highly anticipated rematch and aimed a fresh swipe at rival Tyson Fury.
Ruiz Jr and Joshua will run it back on December 7 and the Brit won't give the Mexican-American champion a shot to reclaim the heavyweight world titles if he beats him in Saudi Arabia.
Asked if he'll rematch Ruiz Jr again if he wins, Joshua said: "No. No way."
Joshua then aimed a not-so-subtle dig at Tyson Fury. He took a verbal jab at his choice of opponent.
"I'm going to fight some guy from the pub," the 29-year-old former heavyweight champion added. "That's what the heavyweight division does, innit?
"Why am I fighting all these solid contenders for? I'm going to fight an easy fight after that."
When he was asked if he was referring to Fury, he replied: "Yeah. You gotta read between the lines, man."
Fury returns to the ring on September 14 as he takes on the unheralded Otto Wallin in Las Vegas, before rematching Deontay Wilder in early 2020.
Anthony Joshua called Tyson Fury's next opponent Otto Wallin 'a low-tier fighter'.

Ruiz Jr and Joshua, meanwhile, will continue their world media tour with a press conference in London to conclude their media obligations before December's fight.
On Wednesday in Saudi Arabia, they went head-to-head for the first time since their June fight and they also faced off in New York.
