Anthony Joshua Reveals The Hardest Puncher He’s Ever Faced And It’s Not Andy Ruiz Jr

Anthony Joshua has named the hardest puncher he's ever faced and it's not Andy Ruiz Jr who stunningly stopped him last year.

Ruiz Jr floored Joshua several times before dethroning him of the unified heavyweight world titles. He landed some devastating blows as he produced one of the biggest upsets in boxing history.

But 'AJ' insists Ruiz Jr isn't the hardest puncher he's faced in the ring.

Joshua eventually stopped Klitschko after hitting the canvas to retain his IBF title and claim the vacant WBA belt.

"It was the 15 that came after that as well," he added. "This guy's a beast, he's a beast."

Joshua last fought in December 2019 when he outpointed Ruiz Jr in Saudi Arabia to reclaim the heavyweight world titles and he was scheduled to face Kubrat Pulev in June until the coronavirus outbreak postponed his bout.
