Naturally, Tyson Fury immediately reacted to Anthony Joshua beating Alexander Povetkin, and the unified heavyweight world champion didn't take long to respond.

Joshua successfully defended his world titles against Povetkin, stopping the Russian fighter in the 7th round in devastating fashion at Wembley Stadium.

After recording his 22nd professional victory, the WBA (super), IBF and WBO heavyweight kingpin now looks to his outing in April 2019.

Who's next for 'AJ'?

Well, a bunch of names have been mentioned including WBC holder Deontay Wilder not to mention former reigning world champion Fury.

But the self-proclaimed 'Gyspy King' believes Joshua will never fight him.

"Think it's now safe to say AJ and his team are a pack of s***houses and will rob the British boxing fans of Britons biggest fight," Fury said in an explosive rant on social media.

Fury added: "They will never fight me ever! Way too slow and ponderous. Can't box eggs! Contact me when you grow a pair.

"I'm 27/0/9 KO and the lineal heavyweight champion of the world! Can't say I blame team Joshua."

"Continuing his tirade, Fury said: "It's safe to say now that they will never fight the Gypsy King. Never.

"They mentioned if it's not Wilder, it's [Dillian] Whyte. There's no mention of Tyson Fury, the lineal heavyweight champion of the world.

"It's all right fighting men 39 years old, half your size. Tonight is pure evidence I'm fighting the best heavyweight out there in Deontay Wilder. Joshua is not even close.

"He's slow, methodical, ponderous at times. Powerful? Yes. But they all are. Very, very clear to see, avoid me at all costs. If I was Joshua, I would avoid me, I'd jab your head off. You're a bum. Can't box, jab your nut in. Easy night's work."

Joshua has fired back.

"I'll fight Fury if he's ready, but, as I've said, he's not," said the 28-year-old in his post-fight press conference. "So good luck to him in his fight with Wilder. If he changes his mind in the future he knows where we are."

Fury is slated to fight Wilder on December 1st with Team Joshua still keen on negotiating a unification with the American for a showdown next year.

Dillian Whyte and Oleksandr Usyk are also touted as potential opponents.
