Andy Ruiz Jr Savagely Shuts Down Anthony Joshua Fan On Twitter
Andy Ruiz Jr brilliantly responded to abuse from an Anthony Joshua fan with a hilarious reply on social media.
Ruiz Jr hit out at Tyson Fury for trying to represent Mexico during the open workout. The lineal heavyweight champion wore a Mexican wrestling mask and waved the country's flag ahead of facing Otto Wallin.
Fury's stunt didn't go down well with the Mexican-American fighter who fired back by posting a message on social media: "Stay in your lane."
A fan then piped up by saying he "cannot WAIT" to see him get knocked out in the rematch with Joshua to which Ruiz Jr replied by saying: "It's probably because I beat your favorite fighter. #ruizjoshua2."
Ruiz Jr shocked the heavyweight division by stopping Joshua back in June but they'll run it back on December 7 in Saudi Arabia, and he insists his focus is on the Brit.
"That would be awesome, but first I wanna focus on Joshua," he said when asked about a potential undisputed contest.
"I don't wanna talk about another fighter and this and that. My eyes are on the prize and on him, because this is a really serious fight. He wants his belts back, and my job is not to give them to him.
"I don't wanna give it to him, man. A lot of people are saying about 15 minutes of fame. F*ck that. I'm gonna train hella hard and I'm gonna win."
