Later today Anthony Joshua will face Wladimir Klitschko to defend his IBF heavyweight title in front of 90,000 fans.

And the 27-year-old British fighter will be bringing something into the ring with him that he's hoping to bring him a bit of luck.

He's had the name of his son sewn into the lining of his boot, to give him a bit of extra motivation during the fight.

Joshua has added his 18-month old son, Joseph's name to the lining of his boot to inspire him to victory, the Mirror reports. His other boot will be inscribed with his niece's name - Angel.

Speaking to the Express, the family man, said: "When I'm with my son and my nieces and that, I take myself away from the hustle and bustle of the world and concentrate on these kids who haven't got a worry in the world. Normality.

"Everything I'm creating, I have someone to pass it down to because I'm not going to be here forever. My son keeps me on course."

Joshua has been careful to keep his little LAD, who he calls JJ, out the public eye. However, after defeating Charles Martin in April last year he shared on Instagram alongside the caption: "Achieved one of my goals as a professional boxer! Now the dust has settled it's time to relax with my lil champ JJ."

The cute gesture comes after it was revealed earlier this week Joshua still lives at home with his mum. Despite being worth a fortune, Joshua lives in the former council flat he bought for his mum, in north London. Buying his mum's house was one of the first things Joshua chose to splash his cash on when he started earning the big bucks.

He also bought a £500,000 penthouse in nearby Finchley for the mother of his son, Nicole Osbourne, and his little boy.

Earlier this week, Joshua showed off his generous nature by surprising his old coach with a brand new car.

Rocking up to Finchely ABC boxing club, where it all began for Joshua, he found his former coach Sean Murphy and presented him with a brand new BMW and a personalised number plate. Why haven't I got mates like this?

Speaking on a BBC Three documentary, Joshua said: "Sean would say, 'Shut up, get on the bags, stop talking'. He told me to stay focused.

"These guys will always have their door open for me, no matter what. I'll never forget who has been there when no one was."

He'll have money to burn after tonight's fight, with both fighter's picking up at least a guaranteed £15million, making it the richest UK bout of all time. So, that's got to be good news for his family and friends, right?
