Andy Ruiz Jr accidentally gave away the game plan to Anthony Joshua in the build-up to their rematch.

Joshua fought a smart fight as he reclaimed the heavyweight world titles from Ruiz Jr. He captured the WBA (super), IBF and WBO belts after adopting a hit-and-run tactic.

A strategy which Ruiz Jr revealed as the way to beat him. Joshua cheekily asked the Mexican-American "what's the strategy to beat you?" to which he replied by saying: "Try to box me around."

Joshua did exactly that as he outpointed Ruiz Jr to become a two-time heavyweight world champion.

Speaking after the fight, Ruiz Jr admitted that he was too heavy for the rematch and expressed his desire for a trilogy bout.

"I want to do it again," he said in his post-fight interview. "I came in a bit heavy and if we do the third fight I am going to come in in the best f**king shape. I got boxed. But I want to do it again. Thank you to everyone in Saudi Arabia. Who wants to see the third trilogy fight?"

Joshua's approach to the rematch didn't go down well with some casual boxing fans who accused him of "running" away from Ruiz Jr.
