From Las Vegas to Dublin, Ireland. It's official folks: Conor McGregor has returned to the ring after taking part in his first Boxing fight since Floyd Mayweather in August, 2017.

'Notorious' was welcomed back to the famous Crumlin Boxing Club on Friday night to face amateur fighter Michael McGrane.

McGrane, who was an entrant in the most recent Elite Senior Championships, according to Irish Boxing, was certainly trying to land punches in what turned out to be an entertaining bout.

McGregor predictably bopped and weaved throughout, and footage shows there was no shortage of showboating from the Irishman.

It's not everyday you come up against one of the most famed fighters of all time.

McGrane's sister Amy, as well as a host of people who attended the bout, posted in shock on social media.

In other news, Amir Khan is interested in fighting Conor McGregor after Terrence Crawford.

"I mean it's business, isn't it?" He said when asked about a fight against the UFC megastar.

The Irishman has been linked with a few other boxing bouts since his venture into the squared circle with Paulie Malignaggi mooted, and Khan believes a fight with McGregor does 'great business'.

"We're at a level now where it makes great business like Floyd Mayweather. We all learned from Floyd Mayweather - how he makes fights happen," he added.

"Conor McGregor vs Amir Khan would be a massive fight. It'd be huge, you've got Irish vs English so that'll be massive.

"If that happens, I'm not one to turn away from that."
