Jorge Masvidal Responds To Jake Paul’s $5 Million Fight Offer, Lays Down His Terms

Jorge Masvidal has responded to Jake Paul's 'guaranteed' fight offer of $5 million plus a percentage of the pay-per-views by calling it "chump change."

The UFC fighter was called out by YouTube personality Paul shortly after he dropped Tyron Woodley with a huge right hand in the sixth on Saturday night.

In his post-fight interview, Paul said: "I've knocked out every single person that I've fought and hey Masvidal and Nate Diaz, y'all are some b****es for leaving this arena."

Paul added: "Just get out of your contract with daddy Dana, and I'm going to f*** them up too! I want anyone, anytime, any place - it's every f***ing day bro!"

Masvidal then fired back at the undefeated fighter, exposing his pay-outs. "You can't f**king afford me," he said in the Twitter video below. "Me and those other names you mentioned, you can't f**king afford.

"I know what you pay. You talk a big game. You say $50 million there, $100 million there. Bullsh*t. I'll tell you a little secret; I fight for money or I fight the best in the world. You're neither."

On Tuesday night, a confident Paul responded to Masvidal on his brother’s podcast Impaulsive with an offer.

“Masvidal was like, ‘I either fight the best people or I fight for money. And you’re neither of those. You ain’t paying the right amount of money,'” he said.

“Masvidal, I have an offer for you right now – $5 million guarantee, plus percentage of the pay-per-views. That’s the most you have ever done as a fighter, ever. So now you can’t say, ‘I either fight the best people or I fight for money.’ $5 million guarantee, plus pay-per-view.

"Let’s make it happen. That’s the most you have ever gotten paid. Period."

It didn't take long for the UFC Welterweight to hit back.

“The UFC isn’t gonna let me go for chump change,” Masvidal wrote on Twitter. “Make that 20 guaranteed plus Ppv and I’m sure the UFC will be ok with it as long as I break them off their fee and then I’ll gladly break your face.”

He continued: "If the UFC still says no because the money is still too low then come over to the UFC, sign a 1 fight deal and we can stipulate I can only box in the cage.

"If i do anything other than that I will forfeit my purse to you. Come on over and get paid and laid out."

Thoughts on a potential match-up between Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal? Who would come out on top?
