There isn't a single sports fan who hasn't day dreamed about hitting a referee, as their team get another decision against them, boxer Hugo Centeno Jr. once managed it, completely by accident.
Referees are the lightning rods for all our frustration in sport, even when it isn't their fault the men in the middle get blamed for losses all the time, whether it's fans or managers.
Centeno Jr managed to take all our own anger towards them in his fight with Pole Maciej Sulęcki back in June 2016. When trying to land a big right on his opponent the American missed, as the referee tried to split them apart, and landed on the poor official instead.
You've got to give credit to the referee for taking the shot like an absolute champion and staying standing in the centre of the ring.

It really should have served as a warning to Centero, if he didn't have enough power to stop the referee then what chance did he have against his opponent, and so it proved.
It took until the 10th and final round but Sulęcki took the win with a stoppage, coming after 1.06 of the round, and giving 'the Boss' the first defeat of his career.
The referee was certainly in the spotlight in boxing's most recent high profile fight, when Logan Paul lost to KSI 10 days ago.

Paul scored a knockdown in the fourth of the six rounds and should have won the round 10-8, which would have given him a majority decision win, but instead he was docked two points.
The American held his opponent and then hit him, after KSI had been knocked down, and the referee penalised him.
After the fight the YouTuber's brother, Jake, claimed the whole sport was rigged, saying, "It's just bullsh*t, at the end of the day I've been in this sport for a year now - and I shouldn't be saying this but all this sh*t is rigged.

"Everyone wining and dining each other, you see who was at the Staples Centre last night? Joe Markowski with DAZN.
"This sport is rigged, for sure."
Poor referees.
